Hello Yoga NH Community.

It’s been a year since I posted the retirement message below. Nothing has changed and I remain happy with my decision to retire from leading Yoga Trainings and owning a Yoga Business. My CFO business (www.maureen-miller.com) is thriving and I am thrilled to be helping nonprofits and small businesses in ways that feels purposeful and meaningful. Wishing you all a happy & healthy 2024! ~Maureen 1/1/2024

from January 2023:
I want to let you know that I am officially retired from my Yoga career. I have been purposeful in not leading trainings since April of 2022 and was giving myself time to see if now was the right time to step back and not do it anymore. (My last Level I training was at my soul sister’s studio – Dragonfly Yoga, Katie O’Connell, in North Sandwich and my last Level II training was in my own neighborhood in Dover NH at Integrated Massage/Rooted Willow Studio.) Is my retirement forever? Well, that seems like a looooong time, but I will tell you I will not be like Tommy (Brady) and unretire in 3 weeks – lol. Seriously, my Yoga career feels complete. It was one of the honors of my life to lead the Yoga NH Community for as long as I did (20 years). So many wonderful things came from that including, but not limited to – my own spiritual journey and amazing friendships!

What’s next for me? Well, since early 2022 I have been solely doing my CFO work (which I did the entire time I was leading the YNH Community), part-time, and it’s going really well. I have amazing clients (small businesses and nonprofits) and all the organizations I work with have an amazing mission and/or are doing really important work in the community. So, that, like leading the Yoga NH Community, feels meaningful and has purpose – which is immensely important to me. (Link to my business: www.maureen-miller.com)

And though I am retiring from leading trainings, I will keep the Yoga NH Community active via the Yoga NH Connection & Community Facebook Group. So, please continue to share what you are doing and let me know if you have questions or want recommendations/referrals for trainings, teachers, etc.

And speaking of recommendations …. Katie (of above-mentioned Dragonfly Yoga Barn) will be offering RY-YN trainings at her beautiful place in the woods of North Sandwich. The space that she and her husband, Declan, have created is the most beautiful of all the yoga spaces/retreat centers I have ever been too. I have shared YNH’s outline, format, information, etc. so she can incorporate as much of the Yoga NH RY-YN training components as she wants as she develops her own way of offering these incredible trainings. We are both passionate about the practices of RY and YN and want to inspire people to share the practices with others and/or to enhance their own personal practice!

And in closing, I want to extend a big, huge THANK YOU to all of you who have been part of the Living Yoga & YNH Communities in the past 20 years! I have so much gratitude for all that you have contributed to YNH Community!

Peace,
~Maureen
