I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from Maureen at YogaNH. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable about the study and practice of yoga- she walks her talk. Her experience in the field coupled with her authenticity makes the program pleasurable and meaningful. Her many years in the field gives anyone the confidence they need to become a successful yoga teacher. Maureen really has the best balance of being approachable and real while at the same time holding you to a high standard and making sure you meet the requirements of Yoga Alliance.  Whatever brings you to the program you will be sure to receive along with a wide variety of other fun and wonderful tools and experiences you didn’t expect. Not only did I walk away from this program feeling confident that I could safely and effectively lead a yoga class I felt like I was a better person. In addition to gaining a spectacular mentor, I gained a friend. With Maureen you will feel held, heard, and supported each step along the way.   To anyone who feels called to join this program whether it’s to become a yoga instructor or just to gain more insight about spirituality and yourself I highly recommend Maureen and YogaNH.  What an incredible gift it is to work with someone who is so genuine, zestful and passionate!  Allie F, 200-hour graduate of Yoga NH

What an amazing experience I had with Maureen in the 200HR RYT and Women’s Power Circle,  I started out my journey not with the intention to teach, but as a way to become healthy during a critical recovery time in my life.  Maureen created a safe space for me to explore spirituality, supported study, connect with and understand myself.  I also joined Women’s Power Circle for more of Maureen’s guidance.  The topics and things to think about were so insightful, the group ran smoothly and there was great synergy among the women.  I was able to clearly define career goals connected to my true self, which is not an easy thing to do!  Maureen exudes a strength that cannot be captured with words.  The work she does accelerated my recovery and transformation and I am forever grateful!  Marissa, graduate 200-hour Yoga NH Program and participant in WPC

Wow! What an amazing and inspiring weekend! Being a part of the 500 hour workshops completely reinforced that yoga is a lifelong journey. One of learning, teaching, practicing, giving and receiving. Being vulnerable. Stepping outside of your comfort zone and overcoming fears to bring us all together in unity, oneness, yoga… This sense of community, togetherness, tribe, kula, makes me feel at home. It reminds me that I need to be the student more often, work less and do what feeds my soul. Something about coming together for a full weekend and shutting everything else off to embrace and embody this thing we call yoga makes me feel at peace and loved. I am proud of the entire Yoga NH community for receiving without expectation or judgment and look forward to the rest of the journey ahead.  Brandy

The past 5 days have been perhaps the most transformational experience of my life. They don’t call it Yoga Intensive for nothing….its intense and it’s about going IN. Deep within. It’s also uniting and connecting deeply with others. As a single mom I have excelled at ‘going it alone’ and walking the solo path. But these past several days I experienced a profound support and loving presence from so many beautiful yogi’s who are also on their own journey. Thank you all for your unconditional support as I taught my first yoga class (yay!) stepped way out of my comfort zone and planted both feet firmly on this amazing path with purpose. Thank you for showing me that while we each walk our own path, it is the loving support from those around us that help ignite and empower us as we make our way through rough terrain. Yoga is a blessing and yoga is life.   JC

Just completed the 5 day yoga teacher intensive workshop in Concord. Although I thought my life was too hectic for it, my flame has been reignited thanks to an absolutely amazing group of people. New friends and new bonds, that will make a lifelong impression. So thankful and so proud to have met you all and had such an uplifting and heart felt experience.  Kaitlin W

As the finally hour of the 5 day YTT training comes to an end I am feeling so blessed, so emotional, grateful, inspired, and overall more confident to have been given this opportunity. I am mostly honored to be surrounded by such beautiful souls who have so much passion in their hearts. I will forever cherish these past 5 days in how it has brought me into this new community. A new everlasting family.  Kate

No words can describe everything I’ve learned and experienced these last five days. It was so much more than “just yoga”. I met some fabulous people and connected much more deeply with everyone I already knew. In such a short time I have grown so much, it was unquestionably a life changing experience. To all my teachers, and friends (who are my often my best teachers) thank you!  Conner

tiny-logo-for-bulletingI have spent much of today processing the 5 day yoga intensive that wrapped up yesterday. It feels like so much time has passed since last Wednesday, so much learning, so much growth. It is hard to recognize myself for all the subtle changes. It makes me realize how valuable the practice of deep self examination is. We cannot become reacquainted with ourselves in bits and pieces but must instead patiently take time to relearn where our soft spots are and wonder how they came to be there. It is at the same time difficult and freeing to have a conversation with our own vulnerability and to reawaken our most basic dreams. I am struck by the simple beauty held in the process of letting go and relaxing deeply into the earth.  Birch trees grow in clusters. That way they can support one another and shelter each other from the winds and rain. They do not compete with each other but rather reach tall from their roots in rich soil towards the life-giving sun. The community that I have been a part of in my journey through the 200-hour teacher training program is like a cluster of birch trees. We each draw on our own strengths to hold each other up, and take turns holding the space when a storm enters one of our lives. I am filled with gratitude to be a part of such a community. I like to think that the energy created in such a sacred way must reach deeply into the universe, spreading good as it goes. Namaste,  Becky D
